Rock Band 3 Finally Strums into North American stores

The highly awaited third main iteration in the Rock Band series has finally arrived onto the gaming stage. Harmonix and MTV Games reveal that the interactive music gaming platform, Rock Band 3 has now released in North America and is expected to entice gamers situated across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and other parts of the globe two days later on October 29, 2010. The game will unfurl across various systems such as the Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and DS.

Downloadable content for the latest game has already been flagged off by The Doors with three-pack songs that can be picked up for free while purchasing the title. Besides the three tracks namely Light My Fire, Touch Me and Riders on the Storm, players will soon be able to take advantage of other downloadable tracks from John Lennon, Billy Joel and Bon Jovi. Furthermore, RockBand.com has now been revamped and sports a new look with the dawning of Rock Band 3. Coming back to the actual game, the new installment unveils packed with a wide 83-song soundtrack that comprises of tracks belted out by artists and bands such as Jane’s Addiction, Anthrax, Def Leppard, Bob Marley, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cure, John Lennon, Paramore, Phish and Ozzy Osbourne among others. Players can look forward to three-part vocal harmonies and a new keyboard peripheral introduction where up to seven players can jam together. The Rock Band Pro Mode further makes its debut here with a collection of new instrument controllers, gameplay options and trainers that help players to hone real-world guitar, drum and keyboard skills.

In addition, Rock Band 3 enters with a deep Career Mode that features over 700 rewards, goals and leaderboard integration. Other attributes include easy drop-in and drop-out easier, No Fail accessibility and all-new Party Shuffle. There is also a suite of social networking tools provided in-game. Rock Band fans can employ all Rock Band and The Beatles: Rock Band peripherals with the title as well as other third-party instrument and microphone controllers.
