Queen to Strum into Rock Band 3 With Two Track Packs

Right from the time Rock Band 3 arrived on the scene, Harmonix and MTV Games have been enthralling fans with some celebrated renditions. This week, gamers can groove along songs coming from the studio of the acclaimed band, Queen. Compiling fresh tracks as well as Pro Guitar/Bass upgrades for some previously unleashed compositions, the group thrashes into Rock Band 3 with two track packs.

Gamers can play the keyboard and pluck guitar strings to Queen Extravaganza Pack 01 and Queen RB3 Enhanced Pack. The former will comprise Pro Guitar/Pro Bass tracks such as ‘Play the Game’, ‘Tenement Funster’, ‘Hammer to Fall’, ‘Now I’m Here’ and ‘Keep Yourself Alive’. In addition, it features Rock Band 3 versions of ‘We are the Champions’ and ‘We Will Rock You’.

This musical treat has been further pumped up with the Queen RB3 Enhanced Pack. This collection boasts of tracks including ‘Under Pressure’, ‘Killer Queen’, ‘Somebody to Love’, ‘One Vision’, ‘I Want It All’ and ‘I Want to Break Free’ which can be upgraded to include Pro Guitar/Pro Bass harmonies.

Scheduled to release tomorrow, these original master recordings will be available as singles for the PS3 at the price of 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 89), .99 GBP (approx. Rs. 69) and 1.49 Euro (approx. Rs. 89). Xbox 360 and wii owners will need to shell of 160 MS Points and 200 Wii Points per song. The Queen RB3 Enhanced Pack has been tagged for 800 MS Points, 1,000 Wii Points, 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 448), 4.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 352) and 7.99 Euro (approx. Rs. 478). Those who wish to grab the Queen Extravaganza Pack 01 will have to pay 10.99 USD (approx. Rs. 493), 5.99 (approx. Rs. 423), 8.99 Euro (approx. Rs. 634), 800 Microsoft Points or 1,100 Wii Points.

Pro Guitar/ Pro Bass expansions will be up for grabs at 0.99 USD (approx. Rs. 44), 0.59 GBP (approx. Rs. 41), 0.79 Euro (approx. Rs. 47), 100 Wii Points and 80 MS Points per track. PlayStation 3 gamers across Europe can lay their hands on these tracks packs and individual songs starting December 8, 2010.
