There have been several Guitar Hero games and recently we reported that there would be fresh tracks coming to GH5 and Band Hero this summer. Now Activision has announced that coming this fall will be a new Guitar Hero game called Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The game will add an all-new story-based quest mode which will be voiced by Front Man of KISS, Gene Simmons. Warriors of Rock will also have the biggest selection of rock music ever in a Guitar Hero game.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock delivers challenge-starved fanatics of the genre Quickplay+, an easy way to test their rock skills. The game will run on an expanded and refined Guitar Hero engine.

In quest mode players will be tasked with saving Rock N’ Roll, while Quickplay+ features 13 unique gameplay challenges for every on-disc track as well as DLC and importable songs. The game will even have Challenge Leaderboards to go along with this Quickplay+ feature. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is currently in development at Neversoft Entertainment for the Xbox 306 and PS3 and by Vicarious Visions for the Wii.
