Paul McCartney soon to grace Rock Band with Live Tracks

The Beatles have been invading the gaming terrain ever since The Beatles: Rock Band made its debut across consoles back in September. Now MTV Games and Harmonix announce a three pack of songs plucked right out from Paul McCartney’s new live album. These songs will shortly be included along with the plethora of tracks that can be espied in the Rock Band Music Store as well as the Lego Rock Band Music Store.

On November 17, 2009, Hear Music/Concord Music Group unveiled Good Evening New York City which came in two different CD and DVD formats. Next month sees the ‘New York City Pack 01’ hitting the Rock Band Music Store in the form of downloadable content. This is noted to be the artist’s first solo album to make it to the Rock Band platform.

The ‘New York City Pack 01’ includes the live versions of ‘Band on the Run’, ‘Sing the Changes’ and ‘Jet’. The pack itself can be acquired for the Wii and Xbox 360 starting January 5, 2010 while PS3 owners can get their hands on the tracks two days later on January 7, 2010.

Each track in the pack is priced at $1.99 (approx. Rs.92), £.99 (approx. Rs.74), €1.49 (approx. Rs.100) or 160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360. The complete New York City Pack 01 will cost $5.49 (approx. Rs.256), £2.49 (approx. Rs.186), €3.99 (approx. Rs.268) or 440 Microsoft Points. Per track for the Nintendo Wii is 200 Wii points.
