This arrangement of tracks has already been released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and now it comes to the Wii as DLC. The aim is to eventually release all of the content onto the Wii that was initially released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. So far more than 570 tracks have been made available to Xbox 360 and PS3 users and in future Rock Band 2 DLC scheduled for release on these 2 consoles will also be available to Wii owners.

The eight tracks from The Cars were released for the Wii platform on February 24, 2009. The tracks are available for a price of 2 USD (approx Rs. 100) per track or 200 Wii points per track. Previously Nirvana tracks were released to Rock band Wii owners.
