The MySims franchise just got a new addition by Electronic Arts. We had earlier reported back in April that the company announced a new IP dubbed as MySims Agents. It is now revealed that the game has indeed made waves in the gaming scene and will hit stores in a week’s time. MySims Agents is compatible with the Nintendo DS and Wii. The title is a mystery-solving adventure game in which players take on the role of heroic agents. As the fate of the whole city lies in their hands, players must stop a sinister plot from creating chaos.

The Wii version of the game sees players donning the role of a special agent who is hired to distrupt the evil plans of the CEO of the corrupt MorcuCorp called Morcubus. Gamers can formulate their very own crime-busting team by recruiting different MySims characters which have their own unique skills. Players must move cautiously throughout the game as they follow footprints, clues and leads, pick locks and hack into computers.
Gamers have to crack codes and solve mysteries using just their wit, skill and trusty gadgets. The agents will be able to explore spooky and exotic locations like an ancient temple, scary mansion, the city’s industrial section, mountaintop chalet and even a sunny beach boardwalk. As the clues are unraveled Morcubus comes one step closer to being exposed and his plan foiled. The adventures are packed with treasures which gamers can use to build and customize their five story headquarters.
MySims Agents for the Nintendo DS lets players become agents and help their agency to stop the plundering of ancient treasures by a dangerous thief. Gamers can do so by simply solving baffling puzzles and searching around for vital clues. The game gives agents the ability to talk and interact with favorite MySims characters while searching through underground caverns for clues. There are 10 different mini-games which help the agents heighten their unique investigating skills.
MySims Agents is rated as E by ESRB and 3+ by PEGI. The Wii version is priced at $49.99 (approx. Rs.2,403) while the Nintendo DS version can be acquired for $29.99 (approx. Rs.1,442). The acclaimed title starts shipping this week and is set to hit stores on September 29, 2009.
