MTV Games and Harmonix have announced that musical great, Toby Keith will debut on the Rock Band Music Store for Rock Band with six of his tracks. The singer, songwriter, entertainer and producer has sold over 25 million album copies, this side of the century.
The ‘Toby Keith 6-Pack’ contains six of Keith’s most popular songs spanning his illustrious career and include his first number one song ‘Should’ve Been A Cowboy’ from his self-titled 1993 album. The 6-pack also features the track ‘How Do You Like Me Now’ from his 1999 album, ‘Who’s Your Daddy’ and ‘Beer For My Horses’ from Unleashed, ‘I Love This Bar’ from Shock n’ Y’all and ‘She’s a Hottie’ from his 2008 platinum album, 35 Biggest Hits.
Toby Keith is one of the most successful performers of all time with millions of concert ticket and record album sales, several peer and critical awards and two successful feature film performances. He is the basis of an entertainment empire which includes a restaurant, movies and a record label among other things.
The Toby Keith 6-Pack is expected to be available on April 7, 2009 on the Xbox Live Marketplace and on April 9, 2009 on the PlayStation Store. Fans can purchase the individual tracks for 1.99 USD each (approx. Rs. 100 each) or 160 Microsoft Points each. The entire Toby Keith 6-Pack can be obtained for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 505) or 800 Microsoft Points. All tracks are original master recordings.
