You Won’t Believe This Game-Changing Stardew Valley Trick That Its Creator Revealed

Stardew Valley

There’s a neat little trick in Stardew Valley that will definitely save you a lot of time. And the fact that it was hiding in plain sight all along – well since the 1.4 update anyway – is what has blown our mind. This trick has been revealed by none other than the game’s creator, Eric Barone via his Twitter.

It is in relation to the items that can be donated to the Stardew Valley community center. These donations eventually lead to upgrades across the entire map, however, it’s hard to find out what items are accepted by the community center when you’re roaming around. As Barone has pointed out, if you’re near such an object, the community center icon in your inventory will gently pulsate. How could we have missed that despite so many hours being logged into the game?

This feature has apparently been in Stardew Valley since at least the 1.4 update. During the early parts of a playthrough, the community centre plays an important part in your journey. A number of areas on the map can be restored by completing different rooms of the center.

Stardew Valley was blessed with the 1.5 update last year, which added plenty of new features to the game and even increased the possibility of the Strange Capsule event taking place. This update even included a new beach farm so that players could face a fresh challenge. As for the sandy farm, it now features good fishing opportunities.

Created by Eric Barone on his own, Stardew Valley was first released for PC back in 2016. Versions for Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Vita quickly popped up. Mobile versions are also available on iOS and Android.
