New Cyberpunk 2077 details arriving this June, confirms CD Projekt

cyberpunk 2077 Cyberpunk 2077 may have suffered a delay earlier this year, but things seem to be well on track for the upcoming game right now. Ahead of its highly anticipated September 17 release date, the game is set to get more of its details outlined next month. Through the game’s Twitter account, developer CD Projekt has asked fans to ‘GET READY’ for June 11.

However, what’s in store for the said date is still unknown. Our guess is that the developers will be holding a livestream to reveal unseen footage from the game, and also to explain some of its main aspects. And the fact that the image in the tweet reads ‘Night City Wire’ leads us to believe that this will be a weekly affair after the June 11 debut.

Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to arrive for the PS4, the Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia this September. CD Projekt has confirmed that an Xbox Series X version is also under development, and it will be offered for free to anyone who purchases the Xbox One version. There has been no confirmation about a PS5 version as yet.

Set in the dystopian Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world action-RPG that was announced by its makers all the way back in 2012. Last August saw a 48-minute playthrough of the game being released online, which was lapped up with fervor by eager fans. In case you’re unaware, this game is based on a tabletop role-playing game named Cyberpunk, which was first released in 1988, and was created by Mike Pondsmith.

Like we said, June 11 is the date on which the CD Projekt plans to unveil new details regarding Cyberpunk 2077.
