Pre-order your copy of Dark Souls 2 Collector’s and Black Armour Editions

Dark Souls 2 has been given an official release date and Namco Bandai has even disclosed that the game is up for pre-order in the US and Canada. The title can be booked in the Collector’s Edition and the Armour Edition which are being offered in limited quantities. There’s no word on how many copies will be sold, but the bundles will be on sale until supplies last.

Each edition will comprise of special items to ‘please fans’ of Dark Souls, the prequel of the game in question. With the Collector’s Edition, players will be able to get their hands on a Warrior Knight figure of ‘premium quality’ which stands 12 inches tall and weighs a little below 16 ounces. Apart from this, the package will feature an exclusive hardbound art-book filled with ‘never-before-seen’ images from FromSoftware. And to top it off, there’s a fabric map of the game included in full-color.

Coming to the Black Armour Edition, here you’ll be treated to a metal case that houses a copy of the game and an official soundtrack disc from Japanese composer Motoi Sakuraba. The Collector’s Edition is priced at $119.99, while the Black Armour Edition costs $59.99. Pre-orders for PS3 and Xbox 360 copies have gone live via Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart. Also, those picking up the standard version will be automatically upgraded to the latter bundle.

For reminder’s sake, Dark Souls 2 will be launched in Europe and Australasia on March 14, 2014. The game will be initially available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles with a PC launch not far along.
