The PS Vita on Monday, welcomed yet another title into its strong lineup of compatible games in the form of Dungeon Hunter Alliance. This title is part of a number of games which will be released by Ubisoft a week before the device’s launch so that buyers of the First Edition bundle will be able to enjoy them on February 15.
According to a post on the official PlayStation blog, Ubisoft will be providing details about its upcoming Vita games over this week. First among them is Dungeon Hunter Alliance which is already available for the PS3 and Mac. This game allows players to explore the depths of Gothicus while fighting evil creatures. Gamers can either play this title locally, with friends or team up online with players across the globe. Various features that will exploit the capabilities of the PS Vita will also be seen making their way into this game.
“We’ve also added PS Vita-specific features, including touchscreen controls. Players can tap the front touchscreen to pick up items and zoom in or out. The back touch panel will control the fairy to perform spells (especially useful when providing spell support with friends). Finally, the accelerometer gives players the option to shake their device to counter rival curses. PS Vita owners can look forward to exploring the immense world of Dungeon Hunter Alliance when the game releases on February 14th for 39.99 USD,” Alex Monney, PR Specialist, Ubisoft, wrote on the blog.
This game comprises over 30 levels that take place in a world which is filled with dungeons, villages, forests as well as areas that are randomly generated. Being an RPG, it also lets gamers choose their class and optimize their hero’s development by assigning experience points to the attributes.
February 14 will mark the release of the PS Vita version of Dungeon Hunter Alliance which will retail for the handheld at a price of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,000).
