Mass Effect 3 has been granted a new Groundside Resistance weapon pack which is available to purchase now on PSN, Xbox Live and PC. The new arms included in this DLC will be usable in the game’s campaign mode, and some of them can be spotted in the screenshots we’ve posted below. The pack has been priced at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 105) or 160 Microsoft Points.
The Groundside Resistance weapon pack introduces the title with a total of seven additional weapons which can be explored by Commander Shepard throughout the story mode. These include a new Venom Shotgun as well as an Executioner Pistol. Moreover, a Kishock Harpoon Gun, a Striker Assault Rifle and an N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle have also been added to the DLC. Lastly, the N7 Piranha Shotgun and the Acolyte Pistol have both been infused into the add-on as well.
A few days back, the Omega DLC was officially announced by BioWare. Set to be the largest add-on to the game yet, this story-based content will feature missions that will take place on the Omega station, which has been snatched from the control of Aria T’Loak by General Petrovsky. New enemies and characters will also be included in the DLC.
This will be the fourth single-player pack for the game since its launch in March this year for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Mass Effect is also slated to be launched for the Wii U on November 18, when the console is slated to come out. This version is being developed by Australian studio, Straight Right.
