Skyrim Dawnguard Beta Coming to Xbox 360

Selected Xbox 360 users will be able to grab hold of free codes to download the Skyrim Dawnguard beta on their systems, Bethesda has announced. This new DLC for the action RPG is yet to be dated, but the developer has revealed that more details will be out during this week’s E3.

Xbox 360 owners can now apply for the beta at dawnguardbeta.elderscrolls.com. All those who wish to apply however, should have a registered account on the game’s official forums. They must also make sure that their forum email addresses are updated.

A post on Bethesda’s official blog, read, “Want a chance to play Dawnguard early? Following the success of our PC beta updates, we’re excited to announce our Dawnguard Beta for Xbox 360. Visit DawnguardBeta.ElderScrolls.com to apply. The process should only take a couple minutes, but make sure to fill out all the information accurately. Applicants need a registered account on our official forums and you’ll want to make sure your forum email address is updated.”

Following this process, Bethesda will be picking up applications of gamers in about a week. And those selected will receive Xbox Live download codes to redeem the DLC. This beta will be a full version of the content and will come complete with its own Xbox Live achievements. Thus, participants wouldn’t need to purchase it themselves.

More details regarding the Skyrim Dawnguard content are expected to come out this week at the E3. This game was released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in November last year, and managed to grab an overall score of a perfect 10 in our review of it.
