Indie developer is all set to release its old-school dungeon crawler named Legend of Grimrock for PC on April 11. It will be made available through Steam, GOG.com and the developer’s website, with special discounts being offered to those who reserve their copies on latter two platforms.
Described by its maker to be monster infested, mind bending, trap filled and stuffed with lovingly crafted dungeons, this title is basically a first-person exploration game which is said to be inspired from classics like Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore and Ultima Underworld. Those who decide to pre-order the game now through grimrock.net or GOG.com will be rewarded with added content like a game manual, a world map, a custom made grid paper to print out all mapping needs, Grimrock theme music, wallpapers, a team photo and art sheets illustrating the creatures of Mount Grimrock.

This game supposedly comprises tactical grid-based combat, mysterious puzzles as well as a rune-based spell casting system. It will even allow players to create a party of four characters and customize them with different races, classes, skills and traits.
Legend of Grimrock will be launched through Steam, GOG.com and the developer’s website on April 11, and will sell at a price of 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 765).
