Deus Ex: Human Revolution Collector’s Edition Detailed

The month of December last year revealed pre-order packs for Deus Ex: Human Revolution that comprised of an Explosive Mission Pack and an exclusive Augmented Edition. More recently, the August release dates of the game were also disclosed. After revealing two exciting offerings, Square Enix now sheds light on a third pack dubbed as the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Collector’s Edition.

The newly-announced bundle is claimed to enter the gaming terrain complete in a specially fashioned Collector’s Box that features loads of enticing attributes. Among the array is the collectable action figurine of Adam Jensen which is designed by Play Arts Kai as well as 10,000 extra credits that can be used to purchase or upgrade in-game artillery. The Explosive Mission Pack offers gamers a new mission with a special appearance from an original Deus Ex character.

“Deus Ex: Human Revolution immerses gamers in its world with its compelling story, smart, varied gameplay and breathtaking visuals,” commented Sarah Hoeksma, VP Brand, Square Enix Europe. “The Collector’s Edition takes players’ experiences with the game to the next level with must-have, in-game content and supplemental items. This truly is the total package for all fans of the Deus Ex franchise.”

The bundle is also packed with exclusive in-game weapons such as Automatic Unlocking Device, Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, SERSR Longsword Whisperhead silenced sniper rifle, M-28 UR-DED and Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun. Furthermore, there is even a DVD containing a 30-minute game soundtrack, 44-minute ‘making of’ special, E3 trailer, motion-comic that is adapted from DC Comics’ official series and an animated storyboard. Fans of the series can take advantage of a 40-page art book.

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution Collector’s Edition is noted to be an extremely limited offering that is expected to release in Australia and New Zealand on August 25, 2011. The company plans to unveil the bundle across select European countries a day later on August 26, 2011. It is now up for pre-order on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms.
