10 Million Copies of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Shipped Across the Globe

Owing to the worldwide popularity enjoyed by the game, ZeniMax Media has revealed that 10 million copies of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been shipped. These numbers represent around 650 USD million in retail sales ever since the title hit stores across the globe on November 11, 2011. The above mentioned units are compatible with the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

According to the company, the month of release saw its PC version outselling all other PC titles by more than three to one ratio in North America. Furthermore, fans of the highly successful game can expect 2012 to bring a lot of exciting features for the title. This includes the unleashing of the Creation Kit along with interesting downloadable content.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available for 55 USD (approx. Rs. 2,886) on PC while the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game can be picked up for 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,624) each.
