Two Worlds II, TopWare’s fantasy RPG developed by Reality Pump, has gained considerable success in Europe within just three weeks of its release. With an even widespread reach of critical acclamations, Two Worlds II’s publisher has announced that the game’s release date has been shifted back to January for North America, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
“Both TopWare and South Peak want our game to get the attention it deserves. South Peak wants to give the North American market 100% of their attention, and we’re happy we were able to take some of the weight off their shoulders. Two Worlds II really is a labor of love, and after seeing how far the game has come, the fans are going to be blown away in January!” exclaimed TopWare Interactive’s, managing director, James Seaman.
In spite of an earlier announcement in Europe by TopWare’s publishing partner that South Peak Games has surrendered distribution rights in Ireland and the UK to TopWare with an objective of focusing on its North American marketing campaign, the rights are said to not have been bought by TopWare. Also revealing its intentions to establish an office in the United Kingdom in upcoming six months, TopWare will apparently support the press and retail community in an all inclusive constructive manner.
Two Worlds II can now be anticipated definitively to arrive on January 25, 2011 across the United Kingdom, Ireland and North America.
