Dragon Age: Origins Reaches Triple Platinum Status

Dragon Age: Origins is the hit role playing game from EA released last year for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Now BioWare has announced that according to internal EA data, Dragon Age: Origins has sold over 3.2 million units worldwide, thus achieving triple platinum status.

The game was highly acclaimed when it released last year, and has received content packs including Warden’s Keep and Return to Ostagar. An expansion pack for the game titled Dragon Age: Origins Awakening is scheduled to launch on March 16, 2010. This expansion pack entrusts players to rebuild the order of Grey Wardens and to uncover the mystery of how the darkspawn survive after the slaying of the Archdemon.
