Limbo Confirmed for PS3 and PC

When a Korean Game Ratings Board listing flashed the Playdead game for PSN earlier this week, it led to a fair amount of chin wagging in the gaming community. Playdead on Thursday put to rest the rumors by confirming that Limbo is indeed gearing up for a PS3 and PC debut.

CEO and co-founder Dino Patti finally broke the ice to Joystiq saying, ‘Limbo is in production for Steam and PSN, and is coming very soon.’ This was reaffirmed by PlayStation’s Twitter feed which went, ‘Playdead founder @DinoPatti confirms that their masterpiece LIMBO is heading to PSN in July. The black and white puzzle platformer was initially released on Xbox Live Arcade last year but has eluded PS3 and PC gamers since. With PSN and Steam serving as platforms the game is expected to be made available to PS3 and PC users ‘very soon’.
