Pre-order GTA 5 for PC and Rockstar will give you a free game for the long wait

The wait for GTA 5 for PC is still quite long, but Rockstar wants to thank you for your patience and it’s doing so by offering a free game to everyone who pre-orders its best selling release. Additionally, the company is also throwing in in-game currency for use in the story mode and online.

Rockstar writes on its official blog that pre-ordering GTA 5 for PC through the Warehouse will land you the free game. The bundled currency will be available for both, physical and digital versions of the title regardless of where you ordered it. This offer is valid only till February 1st.

You’ll be treated to a total of $1000000 to freely use in-game. $500000 will be available for the story mode, while the other half can be spent in GTA Online. There’s an additional $300000 being thrown in for multiplayer, provided you pre-order the title from Rockstar Warehouse before the aforementioned date passes.

GTA 5 for PC was supposed to make its debut this month, but Rockstar revealed a week back that the release date has been pushed back to March 24. The company notes that it needs the extra few weeks to polish the game and do more testing. As frustrating as these delays are, at least we can expect a bug-free release instead of something nearly unplayable (read: Assassins Creed Unity).
