After having been released through PSN and Xbox Live, Demiurge Studios’ Shoot Many Robots is all set to make its PC debut through Steam on April 6, 2012. Described by its maker to be a beer-fueled run-and-gun co-op romp, this game will be proffered with a number of pre-order bonuses.

Steam users who decide to pre-order the title prior to its launch will be rewarded with special gear which will enable their in-game characters to dress up as Gordon Freeman from the Half Life games. These players will even have some of their enemy robots being replaced by Portal turrets. Moreover, the game’s Pyro and Medic classes will get to wear the Chopper Bot backpack from Team Fortress 2.
Albert Reed, CEO, Demiurge Studios, revealed, “We’re dedicated PC gamers here at Demiurge Studios, and we wanted to make sure and take the time to do the PC version right. We rebuilt the controls for PC and overhauled all the user interface so it won’t feel like you’ve turned your keyboard into a gamepad that makes clicky sounds ”“ every detail has been considered to make this an optimized and seamless experience.”

The PC version is also said to kick in better graphics – up to 2560 x 1600p resolution and 60fps. It even supports Steam matching, Facebook matchmaking, Steam achievements and integrated voice chat. The title was previously released by Ubisoft through PSN and Xbox Live on March 14.
Shoot Many Robots is now available for pre-order via Steam at a price of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 510). Players can also pre-order three copies of the title to avail of a free download of the entire game.
