Homefront made news when it was launched online for PC users in March. And now, as a new entrant to its lineup of PlayPack games, OnLive has introduced Homefront Large-Scale Warfare Multiplayer on its website. The bundle will let users access the game’s multiplayer mode where they can put their skills to test in the Multiplayer Madness event complete with prizes for winners.
Participating players would have to launch the game’s multiplayer mode tomorrow and change the settings to give permissions for spectators to chat. Battle Commander (TDM), Team Deathmatch, or Ground Control modes will be included in the contest ambit. Gamer performances will be monitored by scouts going by the player Tags THQCraig and THQJeremy.
The categories consist of, Resistance Fighter of the Day, Best Killstreak, Best Vehicular Kill, Best Sniper Kill, Best Run-and-Gun Player, Most Embarrassing Death and Best Grenade Kill. A wide range of prizes are up for grabs which include PlayPass access, an Astro A40 Headset and a Parrot AR Drone.
The Homefront Large-Scale Warfare Multiplayer Madness event will take place on July 1, Friday between 3 pm to 5 pm PDT. The game can be purchased as a part of the OnLive PlayPack which costs 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 448).
