Brink gamers who are dead beat about the lags and hack attacks in Brink are set to receive some respite. The official Splash Damage blog recently announced that a new Brink DLC will be available for free within a brief period of two weeks. The current update is only for PC users whereas Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers will have to wait for a while to download it.
The DLC which is dubbed Agents of Change apparently consists of two new environments, two outfits, five player abilities, and two weapon attachments. The new weapon attachments include Bayonets and Weapon Shields while the outfits consist of Sad Punk and Limey costumes. Also with the update, players would be able to use napalm grenades and pyro mines.
An end game chat feature also makes its way into the DLC along with a Stopwatch results screen. Network play will receive a boost with this update in the form of dedicated servers. A fix for invisible players is also included by the developers in the DLC.
Steam account holders can download the Brink DLC for free only for two weeks.
