Painkiller Resurrection gets Single Player Demo

Painkiller Resurrection is a first-person shooter which is published by JoWooD and developed by Homegrown Games. This upcoming title is a sequel to the acclaimed Painkiller which debuted back in 2004. The companies have joined forces to announce a Single Player Demo for the game Painkiller Resurrection.

The next installment in the Painkiller series comprises of a new Co-op Multiplayer campaign mode, new monsters and levels as well. All this is packed in an all new captivating storyline. The demo offered by the companies gives players can early taste of the game before it hit stores next month. Gamers can espy all the raw action incorporated into the game as well as enhanced texture resolution and shadows. The title also sports improved moveable light sources, motion blur, ambient occlusion and post processing.

The intense storyline sees an ex CIA Agent and specialist for dangerous missions in the Black Ops Special Unit called William ‘Wild Bill’ Sherman finding himself in a heap of trouble. While still employed on his last job, he killed the leader of an illegal drug operation and in the bargain killed a few innocent civilians as well. And that’s not all. Wild Bill is trapped between hell and heaven as his soul floats through loads of faceless infidels. He is being used by both good and evil forces their very own desires and needs.

The forthcoming title is expected to release in UK this November for Windows. The price of the game is still not revealed. The demo can be acquired from the JoWooD website.
