When you think about gaming tournaments, you would probably think about college and school going kids fighting it out on their favorite games. But corporate gaming championships are also becoming a rage. Zapak has been quite busy with holding gaming tournaments in India and it seems they have also took this initiative about the corporate gaming tournaments in India.
The Zapak Corporate Gaming Championships saw nearly four and a half thousand gamers from fifty organizations fight it out. What was special about the tournament was that executives from all levels participated in the gaming tourney. Arun Mehra, who is the chief marketing officer of Zapak had these words about the Corporate Gaming Championships:
“We had received immense positive feedback from ‘Corporate Gamer’ held in March earlier this year. Companies that could not participate in the earlier tournament approached us stating their wish to participate in the same. This probed us to do ‘Corporate Gaming Championships’ – another tournament for the corporates again this year. The tournament saw great participation from the executives across different sectors. It was well enjoyed by the employees and they say they look forward to something like this on regular basis.”

Though the city preliminaries of the Zapak Corporate Gaming Championships India took place in office premises itself, four winners were qualified for the city finals that took place in Zapak Gameplexes across Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore. Winners took home goodies including game CDs and USB drives.
