Aliens: Colonial Marines Details Released by Sega

Aliens A few months ago, we had reported that Gearbox was working on a shooter game based on the Aliens movie. Now video games publisher Sega has revealed more details about the squad-based first-person shooter video game, Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Aliens: Colonial Marines tells the story about a United States Colonial Marine squad who are preparing against a horrifying and intense alien assault. The story has been written by well known writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle. The game features classic Aliens weaponry along with brand-new equipments as well as skills all within a squad-based combat system.

Aliens: Colonial Marines has claustrophobic environments and includes the desolate interiors of the abandoned Sulaco. It will not only have a story driven single-player mode but also a four player co-op mode. The game will see gamers taking on menacing alien hordes in strikingly detailed levels. Sega has said that they will be revealing details of more multiplayer modes later in the year.
