Prey was a very interesting first person shooter. It aimed too high and fell even harder. Prey was mostly a hit and miss game that many appreciated while many said “been there done that”. Though the title had a very interesting premise it failed to deliver what it promised. Before the game “Portal”, Prey was the game that initially defined or portrayed how portal puzzles can work but unfortunately the concept of Portal was not worked upon too deeply. If you have played “Portal” by Valve and also Prey then we are sure that you must have felt “now this is how Prey should have been!”
Shacknews reports that Prey 2 is indeed in production. It was apparent because of the way the first Prey ended. Just a few details were revealed along with a concept art but for some odd reason when Shacknews reported the story, the whole website was taken offline. The details given were “This time, abandoned and framed for the disappearance of his family, Tommy escapes an Earth that no longer wants him for a future that cannot survive without him”.
Prey 2 is listed for release on the PC and Xbox 360 platforms. Seeing the laziness that we have seen for the Prey Mobile after its announcement in 2007, we cannot be too sure if this game is actually in production or not.
