Dead Space for PC Confirmed by EA

Last year, when Electronic Arts (EA) had announced Dead Space for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, we wondered if the game would ever release on the PC. Now videogames new website Eurogamer.net is reporting that EA has confirmed that Dead Space will come to the PC. Not only that, they have also confirmed that there will be sequels to the horror sci-fi game.

Glen Schofield is the executive producer. He explains, “I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games. I would love for this to become a well established franchise. We have created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made. Right now we are creating our vision which is to be the scariest videogame ever.”

Dead Space is being developed at Electronic Arts’ Redwood Shores studios. They are the same people who have worked on games like Godfather and the Sims. EA has also mentioned that there will be downloadable content for the Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC versions of the game. Dead Space is expected to be out by this autumn.
