Gears of War was one of the biggest hits of 2006, when it was released on the Xbox 360. A year later, it hit the PC platform. But unlike the Xbox 360 version of the game, Gears of War PC got low scores from publications. Now Mike Capps from Epic Games has said that those low review scores for Gears of War PC were bullshit.
Mike Capps is the president of Epic Games. He told gaming website MundoRare, “I think it is bullshit. Because what we did was take a great game, Gears of War 1 for Xbox 360, made it run at higher resolutions and added three new hours of really good gameplay and it got lower reviews. I think that’s bullshit, and I don’t understand it. I can’t figure out what it is.”
Capps pointed out that Gears of War PC had new multiplayer modes, new levels along with three hours of gameplay, which were not there in the Xbox 360 version of the game. The Epic Games boss said that it just didn’t make sense to get lower reviews. As for Gears of War 2, it will release this November for the Xbox 360.
