Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for Windows PC Goes Gold

id Software and Activision have sent word that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has gone gold and will hit the stores as scheduled. The game will release for Windows PC in Europe and Australia on September 28, 2007 and in North America on October 2, 2007 as scheduled.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a prequel to the futuristic wars in Quake II. The multiplayer action shooter focuses on armies of Earth’s Global Defense Force (GDF) against the attacking alien Strogg. The game transports players to the front lines in the battle for Earth.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has been given a ‘T’ rating by ESRB. The game will cost $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2050). However, if gamers want a Limited Collector’s Edition pack of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, they will have to shell out $59.99 (approx. Rs. 2450). They have not revealed any launch details about the Xbox 360 and the PS3 versions of the game.
