Gameshastra has announced that it will provide game development services to Activision Publishing. The announcement came on the launch of Gameshastra’s advanced game services facility in India for Global Game publishers and developers. Brian Ward, Sr. VP, Activision Publishing inaugurated the 25k square feet facility located in Hyderabad.
He quoted, “The creation of Gameshastra Game Services facility in India is an important step for complementing Game Publishers strategy to partner with extremely talented Game Services providers in order to meet growing demand for new products and features. It allows Publishers to focus on new product research while taking full advantage of Gameshastra end to end game services capabilities”.

Gameshastra is also trying to begin an exceptional effort to promote console game culture amongst game enthusiasts in India. They have a “Console Game Zone” at the new facility, which will display leading Game Console Machines loaded with latest games. It is also planning to reach a headcount of over 1000+ people in the coming 18 months. Looks like the future of gaming in India is looking bright.
