Microsoft Partners with Redington in India for Games for Windows

The Entertainment & Devices Division of Microsoft has sent word that Redington India is the solitary distribution partner in India for Games for Windows business over here. Microsoft aims to use Redington’s 39 strong branch networks for reaching out to resellers and other consumer touch points across top 100 cities in India.

We are positive that together we will be able to reach out to the ever expanding space of gaming enthusiasts in India and provide our finest games of windows to them. Microsoft has had a long commitment for its Games for Windows business in India, being the first and only publisher present in this space since 1999. It was because of our belief, passion and commitment to establish the gaming industry in India.”

Games like Age of Empires, Flight SimX, Halo 2 along with many others titles are a part of Games of Windows catalog. And the biggest game that will come on Games for Windows will be Gears of War, which is expected to debut for the PC in the holiday season of 2007.
