Dell is one of those computer system manufactures who has always taken a keen interest in gaming. Now Dell sends word that they have teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to bring out the XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook PC. Gamers can personalize the laptops as well as have access to lots of custom-designed content.
The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition system by Dell comes with backlit Honor Badges, touchpad and keyboard as well as LightFX perimeter lighting. The keyboard has 10-key number pad. The gaming laptop features the AGEIA PhysX mobile processor as well as the built-in Logitech GamePanel LCD. It is powered by the NVIDIA SLI and has 512MB of dedicated video RAM.
With Dell’s XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition, gamers also have the option of upgrading to over clockable Intel Extreme Edition Core 2 Duo processor, up to 3.4GHz. There is also the optional dual RAID 7,200 RPM hard drive and an optional 64GB solid state drive too. Gamers who love to watch high-def stuff will be delighted to know that the notebook has a full HD 17-inch widescreen and Blu-ray Disc.
The WoW gaming laptop features an average display response time of 7ms. The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition also comes with complete wireless connectivity with built-in Optional Mobile Broadband, Wireless-N, Bluetooth and Dell’s exclusive Wi-Fi Catcher. The notebook has a built-in camera, digital array microphones, dual headphone jacks, a portable ExpressCard media remote and noise-isolating ear buds.

The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook PC by Dell will be available to all US consumers on December 11, 2007 on the official website. However, the lucky ones who had pre-registered for early access during the “It Begins” move will get their hands on this amazing gaming laptop today. As for the price, it starts at $4,499 (approx. Rs. 1, 77,710).
