Nyko Technologies, which had earlier made controllers for the PS2, has come out with controllers for the next-gen consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3 and the PC.
Chris Arbogast, marketing manager at Nyko Technologies said, “The Zero for the PlayStation 2 was a hit with gamers and we’re extremely excited to bring the line to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Next-generation gaming is all about performance and the Zero line of controllers has been built specifically with that in mind. No matter what platform you use, the Zero line of controllers will have you gaming at a higher level.”
The Zero controllers use a 2.4 GHz wireless technology and have heat-dissipating aluminum panels. There are backlit buttons too coupled with a distinctive ergonomic design.
The Zero controller for the PS2 was a huge hit. As of now Nyko will showcase the Zero Controllers for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. They plan to retail the controllers in the first quarter of this year. The price possibly will be around $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2200/-).
