Blizzard is planning to come out with World Of Warcraft expansions every 12 months.
Blizzard COO Paul Sams said, “Starting with The Burning Crusade, every year thereafter we plan on bringing out a new expansion set – so every 12 months. We’re still quoting very confidently winter and we will be more specific on the timeframe quite soon.”
World Of Warcraft has around 7 million users. This announcement should have come way back. EA is also in the fray in bringing out its own MMORPG.
