Marvel has announced at the Comic-Con held in San Diego that it plans to launch a new monthly comic titled Halo Ongoing. It will be based around the hit Xbox shooter, but there’s no word on which artists and writers have been signed.
Halo Ongoing is set to hit the shelves later this year, after the release of the Halo Graphic Novel. One of the stories in the Halo Graphic Novel narrates just how Sgt. Johnson escaped the Flood during the storyline of Halo: Combat Evolved. The 128-page book will go on sale in the US this July, and there are speculations that Halo Ongoing’s storyline will focus on the battles between the Covenant and the Flood.
