Sony Online has released new screenshots from Gods And Heroes: Rome Rising, their forthcoming Roman mythology themed MMORPG.
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising gets the bold and dramatic world of ancient Rome online. As Rome develops into its role as a Republic, enemies from Carthage, Gaul and other nations hunt for their share of the riches of this new kingdom. In addition, monstrous creatures of myth, such as Gorgons, Minotaurs and Furies wander the land and terrorize the security of Rome. As heroes of the republic, gamers will get on on heroic expeditions to guard the empire, protect its interests and people, and serve one of the earliest Gods of Roman myths. This association with the gods will bestow the player with unbelievable “god powers” that can be utilized in battle against monsters as well as against other gamers in Player vs. Player (PvP) combat.
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising has been developed by Perpetual Entertainment and will be published by Sony. The game which was supposed to release later this year will now release in February 2007.
