When asked whether the PlayStation Network on Vaios will include games as well, senior vice president of Sony’s Information Technology Products Division, Mike Abary replied, “That is a possibility but we are concentrated more on movies and TV content. We find casual gaming to be interesting for PCs and we are driving right now to establish our role in that area. We believe this segment of end user of causal gaming is growing we can address that marketplace in a way that is unique on Vaios.”

Most of the emphasis is being laid on casual games right now but that could very well change in the time to come. The Sony Vaio team is collaborating with the PlayStation, Walkman, and Reader divisions in hopes of providing customers with a one stop solution to all their entertainment and work related needs.
