Based on the magical world of Norrath from the EverQuest series, Legends of Norrath is an online-only trading card game which can be played separately as well as from within the MMORPG games. We have word that the epic Ethernauts saga will come to a stunning conclusion with the recently launched Legends of Norrath Storm Break. It is the extension of the Ethernauts story that sets the precedent for The Shadow Odyssey.
Vicious beasts from the Void enter Norrath and it is up to a small group of heroes called the Ethernauts to take care of the problem. The heroes are ultimately compelled to make many brave sacrifices due to the suspicious people of Norrath. The expansion features new loot cards such as the horse and hydra mounts, a cloak that replenishes all items once per day along with an illusion turning EverQuest users into dragons. It also features upwards of 240 new game cards adding further depth to the gameplay.
Scott Martins, director of development for SOE Denver, explained, “Over the past year, the Ethernauts saga has taken players deep into the world of Norrath. Storm Break is the final chapter in a three-set arc, filling in the back story of last year’s EverQuest II release, The Shadow Odyssey.”
Legends of Norrath Storm Break is developed by Sony Online Entertainment and is now available. Players can download the free client and battle against real and AI opponents.
