Nintendo has announced that their developers have made a number of improvements to the final version of Opera Browser for the Wii. The browser was available as a trial download since late December.

Nintendo also said that they will release more details about these and other functions in the near future. The final version of Opera Browser for the Wii will be available for download in April. The browser will remain free for Wii owners to download through the end of June. However, gamers who haven’t already downloaded the Opera browser can go to the Wii Shop Channel to download it for 500 Wii Points.
The PS3 web browser is great and the Wii browser promises to be awesome too. Let’s see if Microsoft can introduce a web browser for the Xbox 360.
