This week around, Nintendo wants American Wii gamers to ride a motor bike as well as play around with a dinosaur! Mach Rider, Yoshi and Air Zonk will be available on the American Virtual Console this week.
Here are the details of the games that will release on the American VC this week:
Mach Rider (500 Wii Points) is set in the year 2112 when our planet has been invaded by the forces of evil. Gamers now have to race from sector to sector on their motorcycles as Mach Rider to search for the survivors whilst zigzagging between treacherous rocks, oil spills and other obstacles on the course. There is even a Design Mode to create own courses!
Yoshi (500 Wii Points) is an action puzzler game that features Mario’s dinosaur buddy, who has been incarcerated in an egg. Now it is up to Mario to save Yoshio as Goombas, Bloopers and Boo Buddies rain. Gamers have to assume the role of Mario and catch the critters on the trays as they fall down.
Air Zonk (600 Wii Points) is a spin-off of the popular Bonk’s Adventure series. The side-scrolling shooter has the same cartoonish style of Bonk. However, that’s where the similarity ends as Air Zonk is set in a cyberpunk future where Zonk assembles his friends to form Team Cool and they set out to stop King Drool’s plan to conquer the world. There are three levels of difficulty and three Friend Modes and gamers can play along with a friend to generate an unconquerable hybrid form or blast enemies with a charged attack,
Mach Rider, Yoshi and Air Zonk will be available on the Wii Shop Channel and gamers will need a high speed internet connection for the games. I am looking forward to play Yoshi as it was one of the best Mario games!
