Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh and Kenny McCormick will be coming to the Xbox 360, though not in a video game. The first South Park episode in high definition will be coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace on March 6, 2007.
The episode is titled as Good Times With Weapons and will be a free download. Yes, you heard it right. It will be a free download as the HD episode has been introduced to promote the beginning of South Park’s eleventh season that begins on Wednesday on Comedy Central. The episode will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for two weeks only.
In addition to that, the South Park episode will also be available on a free HD-DVD that will be given to anyone who buys a new Xbox 360 console or HD-DVD add-on disk at Best Buy between March 20 and April 3.
I am sure Indian gamers and South Park fans will be delighted. Even though South Park was never released in India, but due to the content being freely distributed over the Internet, it has a huge fan base in India. Of course, Xbox Live too, has not been introduced in India, but there are many gamers who are hooked on to it by logging to American servers.
