Microsoft has entered into agreements with a number of Television Production houses like CBS, MTV, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. and Ultimate Fighting Championship, in order to bring over 1,000 hours of hit T.V shows and movies to the Xbox 360.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 will be the first ever gaming console to bring standard as well as high-definition TV shows and movies via digital distribution over the Internet directly to Xbox 360 owners.
The initial lineup includes hits such as ‘The Real World’ and ‘Pimp My Ride’ from MTV, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ from Nickelodeon, ‘CSI’, ‘Survivor’ and ‘Star Trek’ from CBS among many more.
Movies that will soon be available through Xbox 360 Live include ‘Nacho Libre’, ‘Jackass: The Movie’ and ‘M:i:III’. ‘The Matrix’, ‘Superman Returns’ and ‘Batman Forever’ will be available through Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
