A little while back, we revealed just what Nintendo had in store for 3DS gamers over the span of Q2 2011. Not wanting to leave Wii gamers behind, the company also sheds light on a wide list of titles players can expect in the forthcoming months. These include Wii Play: Motion and Mystery Case Files: Dust to Dust among other engaging titles.
Wii Play: Motion features 12 new motion-controlled games and comes complete with a black Wii Remote Plus controller. This offering is slated to release across the gaming terrain on June 13, 2011. Meanwhile, Mystery Case Files: Dust to Dust takes gamers to Malgrave Island where they are tasked with finding hidden objects and solving puzzles in order to gather a magically powerful dust strewn across the island. Complete with multiplayer features, this particular title is scheduled to launch on June 27, 2011.
This month, Graffiti Entertainment is expected to unveil a handful of Reader Rabbit titles that include Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade. The month of May is due to bring Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, Thor: God of Thunder and Kung Fu Panda 2 to the Wii with the latter two dated May 3 and 24, 2011 respectively.
“Following a tremendous launch for Nintendo 3DS, our roster of upcoming games for Wii and all of our hand-held systems will keep the momentum going strong into summer,” explained Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations. “Games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Wii Play: Motion offer exciting additions to some of Nintendo’s most popular franchises, while our third-party partners continue to provide blockbuster gaming experiences for Nintendo systems.”
Transformers: Dark of the Moon Stealth Force Edition and Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters can individually be expected on June 14 and 7, 2011. ExerBeat by Namco Bandai will release later this month on April 26 while Get Fit with Mel B by Deep Silver and Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 2 by Konami gets a spring release date. Cars 2: The Video Game will foray onto the gaming scene by summer this year.
While Wii owners enjoy the above mentioned titles, DS players can also expect quite a handful of upcoming games. Transformers: Dark of the Moon Autobots and Transformers: Dark of the Moon Decepticons is slated to release on June 14. Come May and portable console gamers can watch out for Loving Life with Hello Kitty and Friends, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game , Picture Puzzle Collection, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s World Championship 2011, Cake Mania Main Street, Thor: God of Thunder and Kung Fu Panda 2.
