UNO, bittos+, Ghoul Patrol for Wii this week

Nintendo has been endowing the Wii gaming console with loads of exciting offerings every week and this week is no exception. The company brings to the WiiWare the classic card game UNO, the inventive puzzle bittos+ and a hidden-object game titled Aha! I Found It!. In the virtual console segment, players can espy the entry of a Super NES classic called Ghoul Patrol.

The first game in the array is the much-loved card game of UNO. Published by Gameloft, the title can now be espied unfurling on the Wii system packed with some new and exciting rules. There is a multiplayer mode added to the game which allows up to 6 players to indulge in a game of UNO, all on one single Wii console. Many players can also play simultaneously online through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

bittos+ is a puzzle game published by MACHINE and is noted to be a great introduction to the casual gaming genre. Players must form squares and more squares within the other by moving, rotating and placing pieces on a game board. The game is set to keep all the members of the family engaged as it includes loads of challenge and replay value. It also comprises of plush environments, different game styles, many modes to unlock and real-time reactive control methods to espy. There are even collectable in-game Awards and high-score boards.

AHA Found It

Published by Ateam Inc., the hidden-object game Aha! I Found It! makes its way to the WiiWare this week. Gamers have to search for 12 particular items cleverly strewn among on-screen objects. Running against the clock, they must find all the items mentioned, ranging from tiny earrings to big fish. The game includes multiplayer mode and allows up to 4 players to compete with each other in order to find the hidden objects. The title boasts of 10 stages and over 277 different items. It also provides great replay value as the items change their position every time gamers play each stage.

We see Ghoul Patrol hitting the Virtual Console this week. The game was originally fashioned for the Super NES and published by LucasArts. The game sees the Goblin exhibit’s main attractions in the library awaken and create havoc. Players take on the role of the Ghoul Patrol who must travel in time to get rid of ancient zombie monsters from an encyclopedia. Gamers will be pitted against various types of ghouls like ninja spirits and garbage-can ghosts while avoiding adolescent-eating plants and flying books. Along the way, they even have to rescue wigged-out pirates and bug-eyed librarians.

UNO and ‘Aha! I Found It!’ Hidden Object Game bear a price of 1,000 and 500 Wii Points respectively. bittos+ and Ghoul Patrol can be acquired for a price of 800 Wii Points each.
