Capcom Reveals Big Plans for Monster Hunter Tri

The Monster Hunter franchise is hugely popular and the third installment, Monster Hunter Tri came to Japan in August last year. The game is awaited eagerly by fans in the US. We have word that Capcom has announced big plans for Monster Hunter Tri at the Nintendo Media Summit in San Francisco. The Wii exclusive title ships to retail on April 20, 2010.

The new Classic Controller Pro also releases on the same day, and a limited number of game copies will come bundled with this controller. Nintendo and Capcom will have in place at no cost, online play for Monster Hunter Tri, and gamers will be able to communicate with friends wither via text chat or voice chat using the Wii Speak.

There will be a playable demo and new pre-order incentive exclusively through Gamestop across North America, and on March 8, 2010 the demo will become available at Gamestop stores.

Monster Hunter Tri will come bundled with the new controller for a price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,780), while the standalone game will come for 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,320).
