25 years of Super Mario celebrated with Limited Edition Mario Kart Wii Pack

Nintendo seems to be celebrating the joyous occasion of Super Mario’s 25 years anniversary with absolute enthusiasm and is offering a wide range of pleasantries for players to do the same. Shortly after the unveiling of the red bundles last month, Nintendo has now announced the special black Wii package as the Limited Edition Mario Kart Wii Pack releases throughout Europe later this month.

Seven years after game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and his team created Mario’s first major adventure Super Mario Bros. for Super Nintendo Entertainment System, first Super Mario Kart was seen during 1992 in Japan for the SNES. Reportedly boasting over 24 million sales worldwide, six versions of the game for Nintendo’s consoles have been presented since its initial launch, offering thrilling racing tracks based on locations in the Super Mario series of games.

The Mario Kart Wii Pack includes a black Nunchuk, black Wii Wheel and black Wii Remote Plus along with Wii Sports, black Wii and Mario Kart Wii. Additionally, Donkey Kong original edition, first game in which Mario first actualized, is reported to be pre-installed on the Wii. Enabling a maximum of 12 players to engage in frenzied on-track action through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Mario Kart Wii brings the adventure of Super Mario that spans across 25 years with the new limited edition pack.

The Limited Edition Mario Kart Wii Pack is set to hit European retail outlets on November 26, 2010.
