This week Nintendo has released three games for WiiWare and one for the Virtual Console. Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 5, Tumblebugs 2, and 5 in 1 Solitaire make their way to WiiWare, while Alex Kidd in Shinobi World finds itself on the VC.
Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 5 is the next in the series of chapters. The fourth chapter left the Monkey Island world in tatters, and in the fifth, adventure will take you far beyond the stormy isles. Guybrush has met a shocking fate and Elaine must confront the ultimate evil, with everything at stake. Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 5 lets you experience the Rise of the Pirate God, and is available for 1000 Wii Points.
Tumblebugs 2 is the second game this week on WiiWare. It is from Indian game developer Gameshastra. The game brews up a battle in the backyard. The Black Bugs are back meaner than ever, and are rounding up the coloured beetles. Tumble once again comes to their rescue, but this time around she’s got back-up. Tumblebugs 2 features 89 new levels and is available for 800 Wii Points.
Lastly on the WiiWare is the game 5 in 1 Solitaire, which allows you to play five of the most popular solitaire games on the Wii. The game includes Klondike, FreeCell and Spider Solitaire, as well as the unique Golf and Gaps versions of solitaire. The game also features tutorials for each version, and you can even track your scores and view your game stats. 5 in 1 Solitaire is for one player and is available for 500 Wii Points.
For the Virtual Console this week, we have Alex Kidd in Shinobi World. The game has it all, from Alex Kidd and kidnapped princesses to evil Dark Ninjas, and even a remixed Shinobi soundtrack. There are 12 stages from the world of Shinobi, and a few more from Alex Kidd as you run, jump, swim, and slash away. Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is for one player and is available for 500 Wii Points.
