New Wii Controller Revealed by Nintendo

Nintendo, on its Japanese website, posted a picture of its new controller called Classic Controller Pro. It seems Nintendo is phasing out the old controller which had a few complaints against it and is introducing a new one which, apparently, somewhat looks like the PlayStation line of controllers but a little chunkier.

The information on the website is all in Japanese and hence there is no clear word on a release date or pricing. What is known is that the controller will be released in the summer. The Classic Controller Pro differs slightly from the original Classic Controller with the addition of hand grips as in the PlayStation controller. The Classic Controller Pro also has added shoulder buttons to the design and the thumb joysticks are a bit more spaced out allowing for more convenient play.

All-in-all, the new Wii controller makes for better play and looks more natural than its predecessor. We hope Nintendo comes out and officially announces more on this development in the near future.
