Wii Rock Band Music Store gets Journey, Pat Benatar Tracks

Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that 11 new tracks will be making their way to the Rock Band Music Store for Wii owners this week. The content includes tracks from Journey, Pat Benatar, Foo Fighters, Oasis and three tracks from Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants.

Journey’s 1981 smash hit Don’t Stop Believing, along with Pat Benatar’s classic Heartbreaker will be available for download in the Wii Rock Band Music Store this week. Joining these two tracks will be C’Mon C’Mon by The Von Bondies taken from their 2004 album Pawn Shoppe Heart and Geraldine by Scottish alternative band Glasvegas.

Three tracks from the Foo Fighters will be available to Wii owners this week including DOA, Times Like These and This is a Call. Also Oasis will bring their Rock ‘n’ Roll Star to Wii users.

Wii owners will also be able to download three tracks by the lovable yellow undersea sponge, Spongebob Squarepants, I Can’t Keep My Eyes Off of You, The Best Day Ever and Where’s Gary? all from the 2006 album Spongebob Squarepants: The Best Day Ever.

The above tracks from Pat Benatar, The Von Bondies, Journey, Spongebob Squarepants and Glasvegas were released just recently to Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. For The Wii home console, users can download the tracks for 2 USD each (approx. Rs. 100) or 200 Wii Points per track.
